Utqiaġvik, Alaska — Iḷisaġvik College is proud to announce an increased investment from Wells Fargo Foundation, which committed $20,000 in 2025 to support education, small business growth, and community sustainability on the North Slope.

Since first becoming a donor in 2015, Wells Fargo Foundation has demonstrated a decade-long commitment to Iḷisaġvik College, helping strengthen student programs, foster entrepreneurship, and promote regional economic resilience.

“Quyanaqpauraq – Thank you so much Wells Fargo Foundation for believing in our mission and investing in the future of our region,” said President Justina Wilhelm. “Your ongoing support underscores the value of long-term partnerships in education. Together, we’re creating opportunities for students and supporting the North Slope’s economic vitality.”

Wells Fargo Foundation’s contribution will help advance training and resources that support small business development, financial literacy, and workforce readiness within the North Slope. Iḷisaġvik College extends its heartfelt thanks to Wells Fargo for its continued trust, partnership, and commitment to the region’s long-term economic well-being.
