How to Schedule:
To schedule an exam, please contact us via the email below. Ensure you send us your
Full Name, DOB, Student ID Number, if it will be in person or via zoom, and your soonest
availability.

Key Details:
Testing can be completed in-person (Barrow) or via Zoom. In order to test via Zoom, you must have the Zoom App installed on a computer or laptop with a working camera and microphone.
Accuplacer:
What is are Accuplacer exams?
Computer-adaptive tests created by the College Board. Colleges and high schools use
it to evaluate a student's skills in reading, writing, and math. Its main purpose is to place students into the correct classes.

Tutoring Services
Tips Before Booking:
- When booking, select a tutor to work with. All tutors have different tutoring specializations.
- Ensure you specify what you need tutoring assistance with.
- Ensure location is specified and tutor is aware (In-Person/Zoom). Each tutoring session runs for up to 2 hours.
- If you are 15 minutes late to your session, you are considered a no- show and will need to reschedule.
- As of right now, our current tutors are as follows:
- Miros Choi - Reading, Writing, Literary Analysis
- Adam Woodward - Public Speaking, Math
- Simon Aina - Business, Math

Sat-Sun: closed

The Learning Resource Center (LRC)
The LRC provides academic assistance services for Iḷisaġvik students, other college
students, and community members who need academic support.
Tutors are able to provide assistance in English, math, computing, and program-specific
coursework. The Learning Resource Center is located on the main (NARL) campus Building
360. Students are more than welcome to contact the Associate Dean of Students to set-up
one on one sessions.
